Xun is one of the
eight doubled trigrams. It represents the eldest daughter in a family, symbolic
of wind and wood. Like wind, it is powerful and can reach every nook and
corner, even the smallest crevicees. Like roots that extend into the earth, it
is strong and the change is gradual. In order to reach a goal, one must have a
clearly defined intentions. During this process, one must be persistent and be
okay with working with someone of higher status who is capable of creating
order.
With this hexagram,
one must first establish very clear intentions, then find a powerful and
influential person to follow. The facilitator will introduce the idea to people
and set the structure to pave the road to success.
