Physiognomy ~ Hands, the Thumb






Few individuals have unique-looking thumbs that are characterized by short distal phalanges that look spherical.


The distal phalanx may only be half of the length of the proximal phalanx, or even shorter. The round, ball-shaped tip looks stiff and there are checkered lines in both sections of the thumb.


For men, this indicates gaining wealth via devious means.


For women, this may indicate gain of fortune through sexual favors or relationships.
